Intela is a web portal for tax management inside the Deloitte corporation. Our team is responsible for reusable Angular components and directives, business logic in several business modules, report pages with charts and metrics, and the unit and end-to-end tests around them.

The task
A tax-management portal inside a large corporation is made of many business modules that several people work on at once. It needs shared building blocks so the modules look and behave alike, and business logic that stays inside the module it belongs to.
Tax data is only useful when people can read it: the portal also needs report pages that turn that data into charts and metrics, and a test suite that keeps all of it safe to change.
What we do
Reusable components and directives
Angular components and directives shared across the portal, so a table, a filter or a form behaves the same way in every business module.
Business logic in the modules
Business rules for the Obligation Data Definition and Legal Entity Management modules live inside those modules instead of being spread across the application.
Report pages with charts and metrics
Report pages for the Analytics Metrics module, which we develop and integrate into the portal with different charts and metrics.
Unit and end-to-end tests
Unit tests for the components and logic and end-to-end tests for the user flows, written alongside the features.
Technologies
- Front end
- Angular: reusable components and directives, modules
- Data views
- Report pages with charts and metrics
- Quality
- Unit tests and end-to-end tests
Result
- Shared building blocks — one set of components and directives used across several business modules.
- Reports inside the portal — charts and metrics available next to the data they describe.
- Tested changes — unit and end-to-end tests accompany the features.
The portal is private to the corporation, so this page is limited to what can be shared publicly: no screenshots, no figures.
